Internships
IMI’s internship opportunities allow students to contribute to projects under the guidance of an IMI mentor.
Interns will participate in a curriculum designed to learn the fundamentals of maritime and develop career readiness skills, while gaining mentorship from IMI’s employees. You will discover how your passions can evolve into a career in maritime at IMI and beyond.

Apprenticeships
Dedicated to excellence, our apprenticeship programs offer training programs and courses of the highest standard, which are accredited locally or internationally. These programs deliver qualified tradesmen ready to work on our ships or rigs.
On-the-job Training
At IMI, our people are our greatest asset, driving our success.
IMI’s on-the-job training (OJT) program is designed to build the skills of our employees by providing them with new opportunities to grow and succeed; and is paving the way for Saudi Arabia’s up-and-coming generation to enter the local maritime industry.
As part of the program, we are training professionals in Design and Production Engineering; Health, Safety, Environment and Quality; Procurement and Supply Chain Management; IT and Ships and Rigs Operation, and Production Apprentices, at the yards of our partners Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea and Lamprell in Sharjah, UAE.
